Uluwatu & South Bali

The Bukit is the limestone peninsula at the southern tip of Bali, close to the airport.

Uluwatu Temple
One of Bali's most important sea temples, on the edge of a cliff about 70 metres above the Indian Ocean. Hold on to your sunglasses: the temple monkeys are quick.
Kecak fire dance
A performance of the Ramayana story by a circle of chanting men, in an open-air theatre on the cliff, as the sun sets behind it. Prefer the beach? There is also a Kecak performance at Melasti Beach, a short drive away.
Jimbaran Bay
Grilled seafood at a table on the sand, with the lights of the fishing boats on the water.
