Ernestus Dedison Gana, Ernest to his guests, is a tour operator and private driver in Bali. Born on Komodo Island, at home near Uluwatu, and at ease all over Indonesia.
From Komodo Island to Bali
Ernest grew up on Komodo Island, the home of the Komodo dragon, between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores. Today he lives in Bali, near Uluwatu, with his family and their three children.
As a tour operator, Ernest organises activities, day tours and complete trips all over Indonesia. Over the years he has built a strong network in Bali and on the other islands: boat owners, guides, drivers, cooks and craftsmen he has known for a long time. That network is what allows him to put together the best tours, and to find good deals for his guests.
Ernest speaks fluent English. On the road he tells you about the history and the background of the places you visit, explains the ceremonies you see along the way, and answers every question about your dream trip.
